The Halo franchise lends itself to a number of different game types for competitive play. Players must bring their own controller and are encouraged to use WIRED controllers.
For our standard events players select a character at the beginning of the tournament to battle with for the entire event. Stages are randomly selected each round and are only used once per tournament. The championship match is played on Final Destination. Items are turned off. Lives are stock five.
Here are some basic formats:
+ Free-for-All - Each player plays solo against (1) to (15) other opponents.
+ 2v2 - Teams of (2) battle (1) to (7) other teams of (2).
+ 4v4 - Teams of (4) battle (1) to (3) other teams of (4).
